what information may be collected?
I collect personal information from you when you access the website and when you contact me to request information on services I offer and for auditing usage of the site. Your details will also be entered into my database for general administration purposes. The information I may collect will comprise some or all of the following: your name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, IP number and post code. If you do not wish me to collect your personal data please do not provide it.
I may in some cases collect information about you that may not be personal data. For example the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of a website from which you are linked to my website.
For users who register on my website, I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
how is the information used?
I will use the information I collect to track and monitor the usage of my website and help me understand the patterns of site visitors. This will help me operate the site more effectively, identify what sort of information is of interest to my users and assist me in business processes such as accounting, marketing and record keeping.

what security will exist?
I am committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data. I use appropriate standards of technology and operational security to protect personal information including a Secure Server and network firewall connection. Operationally, access to personal information is restricted to myself, and I am under a duty to maintain the confidentiality and security of such information.
internet and data storage
The Internet is inherently insecure. Personal Data submitted by means of the Internet may be vulnerable to unauthorised access by third parties. Submission of Personal Data using the Internet is at your own risk. I will take reasonable and appropriate technical measures to ensure that your Personal Data is stored in a secure manner. However, I shall have no liability for disclosure of data due to errors in transmission or the fraudulent, negligent or other illegal acts of a third party, such as ‘Hacking’. Any transmission of personal information on or through the use of my website is at your own risk.
Users are advised that if they wish to deny the use and saving of cookies from this website onto their computer’s hard drive they should take necessary steps within their web browser’s security settings to block all cookies from this website and its external serving vendors or use the cookie control system if available upon their first visit.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, I will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
While you visit the products on my site, I will track:
- Products you’ve viewed: I will use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: I will use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: I may ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
When you purchase from me, I will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. I and they will use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Set up your account for my store
- Comply with any legal obligations I have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve my store offerings
- Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
I generally store information about you for as long as I need the information for the purposes for which I collect and use it and I am not legally required to continue to keep it. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
For my online courses like pocketconflictcoach, I use WP Courseware which is GDPR compliant, and in which users can request a copy of their data or can request to have their data anonymized through the core WordPress GDPR tools. WP Courseware only collects first name, last name, e-mail address, and mailing address when a purchase is made. If a course is offered for free, then the users registration information is only stored in the WordPress users table. WP Courseware does not collect any credit card data whatsoever. Data collected from an order is used to process transactions, and enroll users into courses. Also data collected like name and email address is used to send out email notifications for purchases or course notifications.
If you upload images to the website, for example in relation to the purchase of pocketmediationintake, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
measuring website usage (google analytics)
I use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use this website. I do this to help make sure the site is meeting the needs of its users and to help me make improvements.
Google Analytics stores information about:
- the pages you visit
- how long you spend on each page
- how you got to the site
- what you click on while you’re visiting the site
I don’t collect or store your personal information (for example your name or address) so this information can’t be used to identify who you are. I don’t allow Google to use or share my analytics data.

Any downloadable documents, files or media made available on this website are provided to users at their own risk. While all precautions have been undertaken to ensure only genuine downloads are available, users are advised to verify their authenticity using third party antivirus software or similar applications.
social media usage
While I may have official profiles on social media platforms, users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. I will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms. Users are advised to conduct themselves appropriately when engaging with me on social media.
There may be instances where my website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page. transmission of data overseas
I will not transfer your Personal Data to a country outside the European Economic Area without your prior consent and without first having assessed the adequacy of protection for individual rights in respect of personal data available in that country.
how can i access my personal information?
You have certain rights as a Data Subject under GDPR to request details and in certain circumstances a copy of the personal data which I hold about you. If you would like a copy, please write to me at the address below and mark your envelope “Personal information request”. Should you discover any inaccuracies in such personal data, please notify me as soon as possible at the same address. I will then correct my records and notify any third parties to whom such personal data may have been supplied.
